Cyndi || 29 || Australia
I'm a 29 year old Primary Education Student from Australia. I spent a year living and working as an Au Pair with Cultural Care in Boston, MA in 2011/12. Currently I am focusing on finishing my final semester of university before I graduate as a teacher.I love to travel, to have adventures, to meet new people, try new things, and write. I blog about food, music, funny things kids do and say, trips, new experiences, my observations, and sometimes totally random junk. Sometimes I take photos of people in bad-taste clothing and blog about them.
I love kids, cooking, running, AFL, pop music, the handful of people that make my world a better place to be, and my special teddy, Ted.
Follow me as I blog about my day to day life travelling and looking after kids!

A bli-WHAT? (and my most expensive cab ride ever!)
Snow. I am in love with it. Wait, WAS in love with it. Until it cost me $265 and part of my sanity. On Boxing Day (December 26th to all you American’s who celebrate your post-holiday sale shopping the day … Continue reading
I’m dreaming of a hot Christmas with a BBQ and a game of Cricket…
Christmas. A white Christmas. In America. It’s one of those things every dreams off. Unfortunately our Christmas was marred by illness, and was a disaster in the making. 2 days before Christmas one of Jen’s family members got some bad … Continue reading
Snow’s falling down, as you step out of your car… [At Christmas]…
Every year I write a Christmas letter to send out to all my friends and family about what I’ve done that year. This year I was cheap and only sent out about 30 letters/cards – so for the rest of … Continue reading
All that glitters might not be gold (It might just be snow…) – I’m gonna miss this place
Driving home tonight, the snow falling was so tiny that it glittered on the ground and in the headlights of our car. I’m coming to the very quick realisation that I am going to miss this place like crazy. When I … Continue reading
New York, New York! (the one where I got to see Kristen Chenoweth sing POPULAR!)
I’m baaaaaaaaack! (Or I was…) (Yes, I do realise that this is like 3 weeks late… sorry! I started writing it, saved it as a draft and then forgot about it! Nonetheless, enjoy!) For Thanksgiving weekend we planned a trip … Continue reading
Let it snow… AGAIN!
I woke up this morning to… SNOW. It’s been snowing a little bit in Waddington, but not enough to settle on the ground, so it was nice to wake up this morning at 7am to find a light dusting of … Continue reading
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
I have officially been stripped of my snow virginity. I’ve been to the snow before. One Father’s Day when I lived in New Zealand I remember going to one of the skifields at Mt Ruapehu and making snowballs with the … Continue reading
I took the walk (in the freezing cold with NO SHOES!)…
Taking “The Walk” with Hanson is something I thought I would never do. Australian Hanson fans have always known that Hanson won’t come back to Australia to tour again any time soon, or maybe ever again. And so since my … Continue reading
Every single time I see you, I start to feel this way [HOLY COW, IT’S HANSON]
I am in temporary shock. It’s 3:30am and I’m lying in bed in a motel that reminds me of the one my grandparents owned for 20 years, still caught up in amazement at the show I saw tonight in Stroudsburg, … Continue reading
Last minute Hanson roadtrip… yes, I said HANSON!
I love last minute plans. Last minute plans mean that you don’t have to wait very long! I mean, I love when my favourite artists announce that they are going to play in Australia, but I hate the 6, 9, … Continue reading
