Cyndi || 29 || Australia
I'm a 29 year old Primary Education Student from Australia. I spent a year living and working as an Au Pair with Cultural Care in Boston, MA in 2011/12. Currently I am focusing on finishing my final semester of university before I graduate as a teacher.I love to travel, to have adventures, to meet new people, try new things, and write. I blog about food, music, funny things kids do and say, trips, new experiences, my observations, and sometimes totally random junk. Sometimes I take photos of people in bad-taste clothing and blog about them.
I love kids, cooking, running, AFL, pop music, the handful of people that make my world a better place to be, and my special teddy, Ted.
Follow me as I blog about my day to day life travelling and looking after kids!

In 2013, I resolve to… [become a better person]
2012. It’s almost gone. Tonight the sun will go down, and millions of people across the globe will get ridiculously drunk, kiss strangers, and resolve to join a gym or lose weight. It’s quite surreal that it will be 2013 … Continue reading
Happy 1st Birthday, Ted!
On April 21, Ted celebrated his 1st birthday. Ted doesn’t show his face in my blog very often, but that doesn’t mean he’s not well known. Actually, Ted is quite well known amongst my close friends, if not for his … Continue reading
Today is NOT a day for procrastinating…
There will be no blogs for the next few days, which is sad, because I do my best blog writing when I am supposed to be doing something else – namely writing papers for school. But, since my next paper, … Continue reading
Hitting the big TWO-OH-OH-OH-OH, Footy’s Back… oh, and so are HANSON!
Good morning from the comfy-ness of my bed. I don’t know how the clock feature works on this blog, but yes, I am blogging at 6am. Firstly, thanks to everyone who has read my blog over the last 18 months. … Continue reading
KONY 2012 – for real, or opportunistic?
Earlier this morning, this post was one calling people to watch the below video, and ‘do something’. Only a few hours later, it came across my mind that I’m not usually a person to act without researching – when I … Continue reading
What are you looking for? [ripping to pieces the stats of usacyndistyle…]
So, as per my previous post, I am fascinated with the ‘stats’ of my website – how many people visit, what they read, and how they get here. Particularly that last one. See, wordpress kindly gives me a list of … Continue reading
Coming Face to Face with Magic [an evening with Jodi Picoult]
As some of you reading this will know, I love to read. My mom always tells me stories of how, as a young child, I would sit on the potty with a newspaper. Between the ages of 8 and 13, … Continue reading
Read it? Love it? Leave a Comment!
Okay, so my blog has hit over 17,000 hits in the last 18 months, so on average, around 1000 hits a month (and really, more than that, because the first 10 months didn’t really get many hits at all!). I … Continue reading →
